I’m taking part Full Code Press in Sydney

I found out last week that I had been selected to represent Austalia at the annual Full Code Press event in Sydney next week.

The premise is that a team from New Zealand will face off against a team from Australia. The brief will be to create
a fully functional website within 24 hours.

The clients will be charities who are randomly selected after putting their names forward.

We will have 24 hours to fullfill our brief and then we will be judged according to:

  • Purpose
  • Visual design
  • Content
  • Development
  • User experience
  • Standards
  • Accessibility
  • Innovation
  • Functionality
  • Overall impression

To make matters more interesting we will be competing in the CeBIT exhibition hall with up to 36,000 punters walking past us and poking us.

Preparations are already well underway and I am really looking forward to it.
