			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As most people know you have to test your code in a range of browsers. At least Firefox and IE6 and IE7.</p>
<p>Testing IE6, can be a real pain if you have ie7 installed as you have to remove ie 7. Microsoft&#8217;s solution has been to install a virtual machine and run ie6 on that. Having been through the process I can assure you it&#8217;s a real pain in the arse&#8230;.</p>
<p>My own solution was to use IEtester, a free browser, that allows you to run windows of <strong><strong><span class="wikiword">IE8</span> <span class="wikiword">RC1</span>, <span class="wikiword">IE7</span> IE 6 and <span class="wikiword">IE5</span>.5 on Vista and XP.</strong></strong><strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p>At time I have found it to be a little bit buggy, but I have made really good use of it and highly recommend it!</p>
<p>Today the options may have change though as Microsoft release <a href="http://www.webdesignerdepot.com/2009/03/microsoft-announces-superpreview-for-ie-browser-testing/">Super Preview</a>.</p>
<p>I am currently installing it and will update you when I have something to share.</p>
<p>The 250 mb download is a lot larger, than IETester&#8217;s 24 Mb, but we&#8217;ll have to see whether it&#8217;s worth it or not <img src='http://jamespfarrell.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
