SeckouKeita.com was previously created using 1 flash movie embeded on one page. This made it impossible to link to various pages.
The original source files had also been lost and we used this as an opportunity to over come previous short comings and develop the site into something that was easier to navigate and would allow the client to maintain the text and images themselves.
A journey into the unconventional
This is not a conventional website design.
The layout and navigation of the site are designed to encourage the user to slowly discover the 'African Village' over time.
Those with a strong interest in User Experience guidelines will also note that music plays by default when a user arrives on the website. This is what the client wanted in that it is the music that sells a musician and they have the option to turn it off.
